What is the Passenger CDL Endorsement?
The Passenger endorsement (P endorsement) is required to operate a vehicle designed
to transport 16 or more passengers, including the driver. This includes city buses, charter buses,
coach buses, and large shuttle vehicles. It is often combined with the School Bus endorsement (S) for
school bus drivers.
